  1. What are the dimensions of the horizontal motor foot plane?
     Relativity and absolute are concepts we often deal with. Relative refers to conditional, temporary, and finite; while absolute refers to unconditional, eternal, and infinite.     Datum is the basic requirement for engineering dimension description, measurement and positioning, and all dimensions involving geometrical tolerances must have datum elements. Parts dimensioning, workpiece positioning during production and processing, dimensional measurement during inspection, and relative position determination of associated components during assembly, etc., all involve benchmarks.     The foot plane is the reference plane in the height direction of the whole motor. The iron core position and the stop of the machine base are coaxial cylindrical surfaces, and the vertical distance between the common axis and the foot surface, that is, the height of the center of the machine base. The center axis of the motor rotor and the center line of the motor shaft are theoretically completely coincident. After the motor is assembled, the vertical height of the center line of the rotating shaft relative to the plane of the foot is the center height of the whole product. The height of the frame end hole is also based on the foot surface, especially for the B35 motor, this size is very important.

    On the one hand, the motor foot plane is the relative dimension reference of the product itself, and on the other hand, it is closely related to the installation reference of the towing equipment; therefore, during the motor processing, transportation and use, the foot plane must be protected.

    Why choose negative tolerance for motor center height?

    Whether it is a motor frame or a complete machine product, there are specific dimensional deviation requirements for the center height dimension, but the common point is that the center height dimension is all negative deviation. For this size requirement, there is no processing restriction, mainly due to the operability of the installation process. During installation, the height of the center can be raised, but if the height of the center is too high, it is not easy to handle, which is also the key reason for the selection of negative deviation for this size.
